ABADEH

 

Abadeh is a small town situated between Esfahan and Shiraz. Carpets from the region originally had floral and vase designs, but as the Ghashgaee tribe visited during the summer months the carpets evolved, taking inspiration from the carpets of the nomadic tribes. Carpets from Abadeh now typically have red/brown tones with a central medallion and corner pieces. In addition you can typically find depictions of the animals and flowers that they see in the fields around them.
